Skills

Skills are the capabilities lintl can draw on while you chat — planning data, property insights, site survey maps, document tools, web search, and more.

Loaded on demand

There is nothing to pick before you ask a question. Every skill is available by default, and lintl loads the detailed instructions for a skill only at the moment it is needed. That keeps chats fast and avoids paying for capability you are not using in that turn.

Switching skills off

Open **Skills** from the sidebar to see the full list. Switch off anything you would rather lintl never used — the change saves automatically and applies to your future messages. Switched-off skills are hidden from the agent entirely, so it will not suggest them either.

Some connected services (such as Google web search and Google Maps) start switched off because they call external, metered APIs. Turn them on when you want them.

Skills and cost

Skills only cost anything when they are actually used, and lintl prefers the lightest way to answer. Disabling skills you never use slightly shortens what the model has to read each turn, but the bigger savings come from effort level and Autopilot habits — see Managing cost.
