When the assistant is generating a long reply or using tools, use **Stop** to end the run.
What you should see
- The stream stops
- The composer becomes usable again so you can type a new message
- You are not left on a stuck “Stopping” state
If Stop does not clear after a few seconds, refresh the page and try a short message. If it keeps happening, tell us (contact on the privacy or terms page).
When to use it
- The reply is going the wrong way
- You asked for a long enumeration by mistake
- You want to change direction without waiting
Stopping does not delete earlier messages in the chat.
